Directions

From Dublin

  1. On exiting Dublin follow signs for the West, N4/N6 and Sligo or Galway
  2. Take M6 Route after Kinnegad
  3. Continue on M6
  4. As you reach Galway, take the slip road left when the motorway ends
  5. At the Martin roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Durabhán - R338 (signposted Galway City East)
  6. Continue forward onto Dublin Road - R338 towards Galway city
  7. At next roundabout take 2nd exit continuing towards the city centre with GMIT College on your right
  8. You will come to a large crossroads with Lough Atalia/The Huntsman Bar on your left and the G hotel on your right. Turn left.
  9. Keep right as you approach the next traffic lights and take right fork (College Road)
  10. Continue straight ahead, past the home of Connacht Rugby, through the lights at the Coach Station and past the Tourist Office.  
  11. You will then be on Foster Street and Eyre Square will be ahead.
  12. Keep straight and the Hotel Meyrick will be on your left hand side

From Cork/Kerry

  1. On exiting Cork and Kerry follow signs for Limerick
  2. Continue on N20, entering Limerick
  3. Follow signs for N18
  4. Continue on N18
  5. Through Kilcolgan
  6. Through Clarinbridge
  7. At roundabout (junction with N6): take 2nd exit onto N6
  8. At next roundabout: 2nd exit and continue on N6 (signposted Galway)
  9. At next roundabout: Left for Galway City East
  10. At next roundabout: Straight
  11. At next roundabout: Left
  12. At fork in road at traffic lights take left fork (lake on left hand side)
  13. Turn right at Radisson Hotel
  14. Left at lights at the end of street
  15. Keep straight until you see Hotel Meyrick on your left hand side

From Donegal/Sligo

  1. Get on N17 after Sligo
  2. Continue on N17, through Charlestown, Knock, Claremorris, Tuam
  3. Through Claregalway
  4. On approach to Galway city: at 1st roundabout go straight
  5. Next roundabout left
  6. Next roundabout right
  7. At fork in road at traffic lights take left fork
  8. Turn right at Radisson Hotel
  9. Left at lights at the end of street
  10. Keep straight until you see Hotel Meyrick on your left hand side
